I’m Jessica MacKenzie Dowse-but please, call me MacK! I’m the owner and lead creative designer behind Jessica MacK Designs. Where I create bespoke holiday displays that bring warmth, wonder, and a touch of magic to homes and businesses, here in Austin, TX and beyond.

My love for holiday design began early. I was inspired by my mom, and both of my grandmothers. I have distinct memories of each of these women who inspired me. I remember walking into my Mema’s home, decked to look like Bloomingdales. My Mama's tree always had freshly strung popcorn that she, my sister, and I would make. And out of my siblings, I was the only one willing to help my mother fluff, and light the tree while the rest of the family scattered. Because to me, yes it was a chore, but I knew it was the beginning of magic.

Eventually, that love grew beyond Christmas to include Thanksgiving and Halloween, and today it fuels the heart of my business.

From custom wreaths and displays for storefronts, to full scale Christmas installations for families, my work is about more than decoration. It’s about creating immersive, memory making moments for everyone. Every garland, every bauble, and every light is thoughtfully curated, and installed with care. Ensuring each display feels deeply personal, and joyfully festive.

What I cherish most is being part of the moments that matter. Helping a busy parent bring holiday joy to their family, crafting a festive entryway that welcomes customers with a warm smile, or planning your surprise proposal (yep, we do that too). My goal is always the same: to make my clients holidays, one to remember for them, and their loved ones.

Hobbies & Interests:

• Loves a good chocolate chip cookie

• Has three dogs, and a husband of 12 years

• Favorite holiday is Christmas, with Halloween as a close second.
